Almond / Badam Halwa
- Almond meal - 1 cup
- Milk - 1/2 cup
- Sugar - 3/4 cup or 1 cup to taste
- Ghee - 1/4 cup
- Saffron - Few strands
Start with the heavy bottom pan on a medium heat, to the hot pot add 3/4 cup sugar and a tbsp of ghee. Stir well, to that add milk (milk of your choice, whole milk or almond milk works great)
Once the sugar is melted and add in the almond meal. Stir and add rest of the milk and ghee. Keep stirring for couple of minutes. Until everything is well combined and forms a lump.
A quick and easy dessert ready in under 10 mins.
