Here are 4 quick ways to turn you normal bread into an exciting breakfast.

  2. Oats with mangoes toast
  3. Chia seed toast (Eggless french toast)

1. Sprouted Green moong toast

INGREDIENTS:

TO GRIND

  • Sprouted Green gram - 1/4 cup
  • Coriander leaves & MInt Leaves - 1/4 cup packed
  • Green chilli - 1
  • Lemon juice - 1 small lemon

TOPPINGS

  • Tamarind Dates chutney
  • Coriander leaves
  • Chaat masala

DIRECTION

  1. Grind all ingredients together 
  2. Make sure not to make it too thin
  3. topping with tamarind dates chutney takes it to a whole new level of deliciousness
  4. Dont forget to sprinkle chaat masala

2. OATS MANGO TOAST

INGREDIENTS:

TO GRIND

  • Rolled oats - 1/4 cup
  • Mangoes  - 1/2 cup 
  • Cardamom - A pinch

TOPPINGS

  • More mangoes
  • Shredded coconut

DIRECTION

  1. Grind all ingredients together 
  2. Optionally can grind with milk
  3. Toast & top with mangoes
  4. Don't forget to sprinkle some shredded coconut for added flavor

Other flavor option is apples and cinnamon 

3. CHIA SEED TOAST (EGGLESS FRENCH TOAST)

Eggless french toast with chia seeds

INGREDIENTS:

TO GRIND

  • Chia flour - 1/4 cup
  • Water

 

TOPPINGS

  • Agave / Honey
  • Fruits (I love chia seeds with blueberry and mangoes)

DIRECTION

  1. Soak chia meal in water for few minutes
  2. Toast & top it with a sweetener of your choice

This is a perfect eggless french toast recipe. I am not a big fan of banana in eggless french toast, I love this alternate

4. BESAN CHILLA TOAST

Eggless omelette toast - Savory

INGREDIENTS:

TO mix

  • Chickpea flour - 3 tbsp
  • Broken whole wheat or semolina /rava - 1 tbsp
  • Turmeric - A dash
  • shredded carrot - 2 tbsp
  • diced capsicum - 2 tbsp
  • Ginger - 1 tsp
  • green chilli - 1
  • red chilli powder - 1 tsp
  • Salt - to taste
  • cumin seeds - 1 tsp

 

DIRECTION

  1. Mix everything together with water and without any lumps
  2. Toast with besan side down first. Since it has lots of veggies I spread a side of bread with the toast filling. 

Alternately just shredded cauliflower will taste good too.
